Abstract
⺠We examine a new spherical biomass pellet as an alternative to current technology. ⺠A new process is used to make these pellets from poplar feedstock. ⺠Pellets are examined by Design of Experiment methods to create predictive models. ⺠Pellets were found to have superior characteristics to current technology.
