Abstract
⺠A map of mainland Portugal with potential CO2 source-sink matching was created. ⺠Four existing Portuguese power plants were simulated with and without CCS. ⺠Effect of CCS retrofit on performance and costs at each power plant was studied. ⺠The incremental COE was estimated at around 46 $/MW h for NGCC plants. ⺠The incremental COE was estimated at around 61 $/MW h for PC plants.
