Abstract
⺠Electric grids with high wind penetration levels have operational problems. ⺠Hydrogen production and storage can mitigate impact on grids of wind farms. ⺠The study describes an optimisation method for analysing wind-hydrogen systems. ⺠Optimal size of the hydrogen plant gives the minimum hydrogen production cost. ⺠The minimum hydrogen production cost does not give the maximum peak shaving effect.
