Abstract
⺠We simulate the motion of adhesive particles and deposit formation in a 3D linear compressor cascade. ⺠The simulation accounts for the unsteadiness of the flow field. ⺠Deposit tends to form where strong vortical structures are present. ⺠On the leading edge a 'clean' zone forms as also measured by experiments.
