Abstract
⺠A framework to assess the impact of demand response and smart metering is developed. ⺠Uncertainties of demand and the supply are analyzed in a probabilistic manner. ⺠Interactions among generators under the price responsive demand are explored. ⺠Changes in market prices and system reliability are analyzed in IEEE RTS and Korean markets.
