Abstract
⺠Combustion characterization of diesel HCCI with external mixture formation. ⺠'Diesel vaporizer' was successful in achieving HCCI combustion. ⺠Efficient HCCI combustion achieved up to medium load conditions. ⺠Combustion parameters are effectively controlled by EGR. ⺠Control of SOC and ROHR at higher loads remains challenging.
