Abstract
⺠An LCA evaluation of alveolar bricks and macroencapsulated PCM facades is done. ⺠A reduction of the environmental impact is reached due. ⺠This reduction is due to the energy savings achieved during the operational phase. ⺠This reduction compensates the increase of the environmental impact due to the PCM. ⺠The overall benefit of PCM is the highest when all year summer weather conditions are assumed.
