Hydrothermal synthesis of well-aligned hierarchical TiO2 tubular macrochannel arrays with large surface area for high performance dye-sensitized solar cells

► Well-aligned hierarchical TiO2 tubular macrochannel arrays were fabricated by a hydrothermal method. ► Hierarchical TiO2 tubular materials possess a high surface area and macro-mesoporous structure. ► Solar cells made of hierarchical TiO2 tubular materials exhibited a high efficiency of 8.10%.
