Abstract
⺠BEM and double multiple stream tube models are used. ⺠Wind data is assessed for Fadashk station in Khorasan in Iran. ⺠A site-specific small vertical axis wind turbine is designed. ⺠The maximum power coefficient of 0.472 is achieved. ⺠The designed H-rotor VAWT was economically evaluated.
