Abstract
⺠A new trapezoidal array of air-cooled condensers in a power plant is proposed. ⺠The computational model is developed; the flow and temperature fields are presented. ⺠The reversed flows in the upwind condenser cells disappear due to trapezoidal array. ⺠Hot plume recirculation becomes weak and only appears at one side near the buildings. ⺠Thermo-flow performances are improved by trapezoidal array of air-cooled condensers.
