Abstract
⺠We present a fractional Bingham model which can describe the time dependent behavior. ⺠The pulling sphere tests of muddy clay are conducted under three different speed conditions. ⺠The magnitude of the order in our model can quantitatively discriminate mechanical properties. ⺠The order of our model can be greater than 1 in some cases, which breaks the common assumption.
