Abstract
► Incompressible fluid flow with a pressure-dependent viscosity in a pipe is studied. ► General assumption on the viscosity law satisfied by the Barus formula is considered. ► Pipe's thickness is considered as the small parameter. ► The explicit expression for the asymptotic approximation of the flow is derived. ► The error estimate for the approximation is provided.
