Abstract
► Dynamic analysis of sandwich beam with functionally graded core is analyzed. ► A truly meshfree RPIM using Cartesian transformation method is presented. ► Effective core properties are generated by rule of mixture or Mori-Tanaka methods. ► Penalty method is used to treat the material discontinuities. ► Difficulty in imposing of boundary condition is overcome because of RPIM functions.
