Abstract
⿺ We develop a set of generic recommendations for control system software requirements. ⿺ We analyze ITER remote handling system requirements. ⿺ Requirement specifications have major impact on software reliability. ⿺ Reliability requirements need to be managed as a system measure. ⿺ Systematically developed requirements can be used to form a dependability case.
