Abstract
The results suggest that the model of Bowlby's attachment that would condition the functioning of the individual still be operating in the elderly. Thus, a secure attachment is likely to constitute a protective factor contributing to a better quality of life. Conversely, insecurity could be a vulnerability factor impairing the quality of life.
