Abstract
⺠Cognitive profiles of mathematically impaired children depend on language abilities. ⺠Lower memory scores were only found in children with combined language difficulty. ⺠Children with isolated mathematical difficulty exhibited no relative memory deficit. ⺠Both groups exhibited lower full-scale IQ than controls. ⺠The two groups with mathematical difficulty showed different cognitive profiles.
