Abstract

âº Achievement motives were the investigated personal antecedents of achievement goals. âº Perceived classroom goal structures were the contextual antecedents. âº The relation of both antecedents to learning strategies was investigated. âº Elementary students' achievement goals were the mediated variables. âº Mastery-approach goals partially mediated.
