Abstract
⺠Plausibility judgments have long been theorized as a critical component for conceptual change. ⺠Instruction promoting critical evaluation can promote reappraisals of plausibility judgments. ⺠Reappraisal can lead to sustained conceptual change when “plausibility gaps” occur.
