Abstract
⺠Psychologists use counter-stereotypes to reduce stereotyping at schools. ⺠We asked whether counter-stereotypes can benefit divergent thinking. ⺠Counter-stereotypes enhanced fluency, cognitive flexibility and originality when PNS was low.
