Abstract
This paper studies the adaptive tracking control problem of a discrete-time switched nonlinear system with dead-zone input under a class of switching signals with average dwell time. Due to the complicated structure of the discrete-time switched nonlinear systems and the existence of the dead-zone, it makes a great obstacle for controlling such a class of systems. The fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate the unknown terms of each subsystem. In addition, both stable subsystems and unstable subsystems are considered. The controllers of subsystems, update laws and switching signals are designed such that the closed-loop system is stable and all the signals are bounded. Finally, a simulation example is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
