Abstract
- This paper presents IDE to determine the optimal hourly schedule of power generation.
- DE exploits the differences of randomly sampled pairs of objective vectors.
- DE is precise, fast and robust but its search efficiency will be impaired.
- This paper proposes Gaussian random variable instead of scaling factor.
- It is found that IDE based approach is able to provide better solution.
