Abstract
⺠SOA algorithm is employed for optimal placement of power quality meters. ⺠HSE was also improved during the proposed placement process. ⺠The cost function is the weighted sum of maximum HSE relative errors. ⺠The simulation studies were performed on an IEEE 14-bus test system.
