Abstract
⺠We introduce transfer function approach to hydropower plant performance evaluation. ⺠We modeled 10-year performance data from Kainji Hydro Power Station in Nigeria. ⺠Used the transfer function model parameter values as performance indicators. ⺠Established 2003 performance as best based on yearly performance indicator values. ⺠For a power plant to be efficient, the indicator value should be above 7.523.
