Abstract
⺠This paper shows the mathematical formulas for the earth resistance value of a gas insulated sub-station (GIS). ⺠The work involves of resistivity measurements and then interpretation as two layers of soil. ⺠This study compares the formulas available in previously published work and the results obtained for the field site. ⺠Similar results between analytical and experimental results were found, which shows both methods are valid.
