Abstract
⺠We developed nonlinear binary programming models for SAIDI and SAIFI minimization. ⺠Functions of the locations of protective devices and sectionalizing switches. ⺠The model is able to find better solutions than other found in the literature. ⺠Reliability improves trough the optimal allocation of the devices. ⺠Investment cost for reliability improvement can be reduced.
