Abstract
⺠An improved grey model for electricity price forecasting is proposed. ⺠The reference series of the model is determined by correlation method. ⺠Parameters a and b are identified with PSO instead of LSM in the proposed model. ⺠Limitation of LSM used in grey models is explained and proved.
