Abstract
⺠The impact of SSSC is investigated analytically and results verified by simulations. ⺠The impact of SSSC on the trip boundaries of the distance relay is investigated. ⺠The effect of SSSC on two phases faults are also studied in this paper. ⺠The over-reaching operation of distance relay might happen in some cases.
