Abstract
⺠Complex-domain neural networks are proposed for locating faults on power lines. ⺠Proposal allows voltage/current representation without amplitude/phase decoupling. ⺠Different representations for voltage and current signals are analyzed. ⺠Real-domain neural networks and a benchmark model are tested for comparison. ⺠Measurements are assumed to be available at one line terminal only.
