Abstract
⺠An optimal power system stabilizer (OPSS) for multi machine systems is proposed. ⺠The state variables of the conventional power system stabilizer (CPSS) are used for the OPSS design. ⺠A suboptimal power system stabilizer (SOPSS) is established. ⺠Several cases of multi machine systems have been simulated.
