Abstract
⺠Fiducial quantities are used for estimating tolerance intervals. ⺠The focus is on functions of some discrete distributions. ⺠A general Monte Carlo algorithm is outlined for estimating the tolerance intervals. ⺠A numerical study demonstrates the good coverage properties of this method. ⺠The functions used in this paper are available in the R package tolerance.
