Abstract
⺠We study state of the art microsimulations of the Port of Dover which are qualitatively and quantitatively tested and validated. ⺠Lightweight methods using network activity have been successfully used to capture transit of vehicles through the Port of Dover. ⺠Variability between simulation runs has been demonstrated and used to highlight the importance of decision making protocols within a simulation.
