Abstract
This article proposes a methodology of electrochemical capacitor quality control using fractional order models for porous electrode behaviour description. The main advantage of fractional order electrochemical capacitor modeling is the absence of high-order polynomials in transfer functions under the condition of low impedance approximation error. In the presented work, the three-segment fractional order electrochemical capacitor model is selected for quality control purpose because such a model is relatively simple and corresponds to the electrochemical capacitor physical structure. As a result, the impedances of 16 electrochemical capacitor samples are fitted with the selected fractional order model. The intervals of sample impedances and model parameters are also presented in the article.
