⺠We model a market in which suppliers bid step-function offer curves. ⺠We use analytic results and agent-based modeling. ⺠We develop a framework for evaluating agent-based models. ⺠We validate our agent model with analytic results. ⺠We use the agent model to obtain results not analytically available.
