Abstract
⺠We model a supplier's channel coordination in the presence of quality uncertainty. ⺠Integration may result in smaller order quantity than in a decentralized channel. ⺠Integration may result in less accurate inspection than in a decentralized channel. ⺠We propose a new scheme, the quality-compensation contract for coordination. ⺠The contract fully coordinates the channel in the presence of quality uncertainty.
