Sharing costs in highways: A game theoretic approach

► We model a practical cost allocation problem, related with highways, as a cooperative cost TU game. ► This model can be extended to situations where there is a common resource that agents will jointly use. ► We present an easy formula to calculate the Shapley value. ► We present an efficient procedure to calculate the nucleolus. ► We apply our results to a real highway in the north of Spain.
