Abstract
⺠We use a PAR (p) with Boostrap technique model to generate hydrological scenarios. ⺠The scenarios are used in the long-term hydrothermal system operation planning. ⺠We evaluate the solutions by an improved Stochastic Dynamic Programming model. ⺠We compare the results with those from historical scenarios for the Brazilian System. ⺠The model generates accurate scenarios for the planning of large-size systems.
