Abstract
► We use a PAR (p) with Boostrap technique model to generate hydrological scenarios. ► The scenarios are used in the long-term hydrothermal system operation planning. ► We evaluate the solutions by an improved Stochastic Dynamic Programming model. ► We compare the results with those from historical scenarios for the Brazilian System. ► The model generates accurate scenarios for the planning of large-size systems.
