Abstract
⺠We assess the performance of US electric utility facilities. ⺠We merge the Leontief specification and copula estimation in efficiency estimation. ⺠Partial factor productivity decomposition measures are developed and estimated. ⺠Labor productivity grew nearly three times faster than fuel productivity. ⺠Most productivity growth taking place in the pre-deregulation period.
