Abstract
⺠An efficient VNS to solving the MDP and MDRSP is presented. ⺠VNS approach is based on a decomposition with an auxiliary objective function. ⺠Local search is implemented very efficiently. ⺠Experimental comparison with genetic algorithm indicates superiority of VNS approach.
