Abstract
⺠Optimal policy of a center in a decentralized system is partly control-limit type. ⺠Complete pooling policy may result in loss in decentralized systems. ⺠Benefit of information sharing is limited when pooling is in place. ⺠For competing locations, benefit of pooling may be considerably high.
