Abstract
⺠A new index and a method are proposed to examine the activities importance in a project. ⺠A management oriented view is proposed to compare various methods and indices. ⺠The proposed view is based on indices' effects on project completion time and its variance. ⺠Our proposed index and method result in better outcome in comparison to other indices.
