Abstract
- A novel hybrid GA-BFO-FCM algorithm for MR brain image segmentation is presented.
- Optimal boundary point detection (OBPD) method using GA-BFO is investigated.
- Inbuilt constraints and repair mechanism is incorporated in our method.
- Reformulation of the objective function is well suited for optimization.
- Improved segmentation results are obtained. Our method is robust for noisy images.
