Abstract
⺠We study a new vorticity based numerical method for simulation incompressible viscous flows. ⺠The methods combines the accuracy of vorticity based solvers with the conservation properties of primitive variable solvers. ⺠We assess the corresponding finite element methods given several 3D benchmark problem. ⺠The paper also concerns with building efficient iterative solvers.
