Abstract
► We model the uncertainty of road polygons extracted from airborne laser scanning data by using random sets. ► The errors in laser points are simulated by Markov Chain Monte Carlo simulation. ► Correlations between the vertices of road objects are considered in the uncertainty modelling. ► Performance of the developed method is validated by reference data.
