Abstract
⺠The paper deals with the problem of the delimitation and zoning of rural settlements. ⺠An population-based iterated greedy algorithm has been developed. ⺠Fitness function is based on compactness, suitability, buildings and surface ratios. ⺠An alternative method of delimitation is proposed and compare to the “legal method”. ⺠Tests show that both proposed delimitation method and algorithm works efficiently.
