Abstract
⺠Analyzed 15 cities in the southern United States. ⺠Developed an efficient process for estimating plantable areas within cities. ⺠Used multiple sources of remote sensing data for analysis. ⺠Estimated approximately 438,500 ha of potentially plantable land in the study area.
