Abstract
⺠Large-scale hedonic house price modeling is challenging in complex urban environments. ⺠3D analysis based on airborne laser scanning is utilized to extract exploratory variables. ⺠The externality incoming solar radiation is derived separately for flats in Vienna, Austria. ⺠The impact of solar radiation on flat prices is tested in a generalized additive hedonic model. ⺠Model comparisons confirm an increased explanatory power and a decreased prediction error.
