Abstract
⺠Evolutionary polynomial regression (EPR) is used to model the behaviour of soils. ⺠The volumetric behaviour of soil is considered in the EPR modelling. ⺠The developed models are compared with conventional material models. ⺠Particularly capability of EPR models in predicting volume change of soil is shown. ⺠The EPR models are incorporated in finite element model (FEM).
