Abstract
⺠We compare grid-based and particle-based approaches for advective mass transport. ⺠Convolution is used with particle-based age-mass distributions. ⺠Kernel density estimation is used to smooth particle-based age distributions. ⺠Velocity refinement equations are used to account for well discharge. ⺠The range of accuracy and CPU usage for each of the approaches is presented
