Abstract
⺠4DPlates is a Google EarthTM-like application aware of plate tectonics. ⺠4DPlates allows interactive plate reconstructions and grid-calculations. ⺠GPU-calculations and 4-8 multi-layer tile hierarchy are the main technologies driving 4DPlates. ⺠Tectonic subsidence calculations with basin data and a reconstruction of the South Atlantic are shown.
