Abstract
⺠Tablet PCs are invaluable for collecting working memory data. ⺠Cognitive factors that influence ability in the geosciences are little understood. ⺠Understanding these cognitive factors is critical to geoscience education. ⺠Working memory is one of the cognitive factor that plays a large role in domain expertise. ⺠We present prospective ways in which GIS could be used for analysis of sketches.
